Our bespoke shepherds hut, Y Gorlan(The Fold) was skilfully constructed following an original 19th century design, incorporating traditional features as well as the comforts of 21st century technology.

Enjoy a good night's sleep in a comfortable double bed with en suite facilities, a log burning stove as well as underfloor heating. An ideal venue to relax among countryside scenes and views.

Y Gorlan provides everything required for that perfect short break away. Outside there is an ample garden to relax in with gazebo and garden furniture, or wonder down with a glass of wine to the bank of the river Alaw.

There is something for everyone on Anglesey and Y Gorlan makes the perfect base from which to start out from, to enjoy the Island’s many and varied treasures. From ancient historical and geological sites, to the quaint villages and coastal towns with wonderful beaches there is something for everyone. The location is ideal for all manner of outdoor activities; fishing, cycling, walking, horse riding, canoeing, birdwatching, golfing, surfing you can even go go karting and rib riding…

The Kyffin Gallery in Llangefni, Amlwch Copper Kingdom,  Beaumaris Castle and Prison, Llynnon Mill and Celtic Roundhouses offer you insights into the Island’s artistic and historic heritage. Holyhead, a busy port town provides a Gateway to Ireland.
